On Wednesdays We Wear Pink - Orly - Fancy Fuchsia - Flip Flop Manicure

Hey everyone!! Happy Pink Wednesday! So this manicure is extra special to me because it's in memory of a good friend that I lost to suicide a year ago yesterday. Some of you may have already caught this mani on MUA yesterday - so please bear with me. I just felt it deserved it's own blog post. My friend's name was Britnee and her favorite color was pink - so what better time to honor her than on a Pink Wednesday post. She was a beautiful and smart girl who loved to wear flip flops - even in the snow :) She was wonderful and silly and is greatly missed... so I just wanted to pay a little tribute to her here. For this mani I used Essie Feed Me and a China Glaze basecoat. I used Orly Fancy Fuchsia as the main color and Zoya's Morgan as the flip flop base and Sinful Colors Snow Me White as the flip flop straps. I then used Out The Door as my top coat :) Now on to the pics!

Zoya - Mira - Summertime Collection

Summer, summer summertime...time to sit back and unwind!! LOL I just can't help but sing that song every time I think about the new Zoya Summertime Collection. I was one of the many that took advantage of the BOGO promotion that Zoya had last month. I got the entire Summertime Collection and being that my favorite color is purple - I naturally wanted to try Mira first. I have to say I love it!! It's so beautiful and it automatically became one of my favorite polishes :) I started out with 2 coats of Essie Feed Me and Seche Clear as my basecoat. There was a deal at Sally's a while back where if you bought a Seche Clear you got a Seche Vite for free - or vice versa - I can't remember. Either way, that is how I ended up getting Seche Clear - so far I don't have anything bad to say about it... but this is also my first time using it. I then used 2 coats of Mira - which really I could have just used one. I then used a new topcoat that I just bought this weekend - it's called Out The Door - it's a lot like Seche Vite, it's just not as thick. It dries super fast and it plays nice with Zoya polish - which Seche Vite as we all know - doesn't. So I definitely recommend you to try the Out the Door top coat! Now on to the pics - this being a purple polish... of course I had to take 100,000 pictures and had the hardest time getting a pic of the color IRL. Oh well! I guess you will just have to go out and get this for yourself - I promise that you won't regret it! :)

This is probably the closest to the color IRL

So let me know what you think!! Did you get any of the new Zoyas?
